Scotland forms its own legal system. A unique model of limited liability partnership – the so-called Scottish partnership, SLP, may be formed under the Limited Partnership Act, adopted by the Parliament in 1907. Since SLP is a legal entity, it may possess different assets and property, attract new investors as limited partners, sign contracts and take loans.
Benefits of offshore registration in Scotland:
- Unlike English LLP, SLP is not obliged to submit the financial report to the registry;
- is not subject to audits;
- requires no additional costs for bookkeeping;
- files zero tax return.
