To have your own business means to bear the responsibility for it every minute, even while driving. That is why Oleg NALYVAYKO, the attorney, founder and owner of the law firm “Strateg” calls his Mercedes-Benz the “office on wheels.”

Mr. Oleg, share the story of Your professional growth, please.

– As a graduate of the Faculty of International Economics and Law of KNEU, I started working at the National Agency for Development and European Integration. It was a very serious school! Then, when the Agency merged with the Ministry of Economy, I became a deputy chief of department and was the youngest manager.  But the salary in the state institution made it impossible to decently provide for the family and I decided to become an attorney. In 2009 I founded my own company “Strateg” and since that time I have been sure that the law is the work of my life. We specialize in administrative, commercial, family, and inheritance law. We solve corporate conflicts and deal with the issues of opening accounts and registering companies of foreign jurisdictions. We also focus on investment and family funds. All in all, we do everything to protect a business.

You started Your business against the backdrop of economic crisis but achieved significant results. What anti-crisis solutions do You consider the most effective?

– Do not panic, and calmly search for the right solution. The experience gained over the eight years of existence of company “Strateg” enables us to not only be stable but also move forward. An integral part of development is implementing new technologies. “Strateg” can boast being the only law firm in Ukraine that has a national as well as USA patents. Surely, time is money. What other worldview attitudes do You rely on as the head of law firm?

– You know, almost all my relatives are doctors, I am the first person of several generations who became a lawyer. However, the law and medicine have a lot in common. Primarily, it is the responsibility towards people. Just as our dynasty of doctors saved the lives, I do my duty by helping people. Relying on the experience which my parent handed over to me, I realise that there is no triviality in any business. In each case there are people’s lives. Awareness of this I demand from all employees. They should be able to look at the situation through the eyes of customers. It leads to our next principle – being maximum client-oriented. Even when we are providing services free of charge, as part of social projects, the client should be completely satisfied, as we are talking about our reputation.

The car You have chosen also has an excellent reputation. Please tell us about Your driving experience and how You became a fan of Mercerdes-Benz.

– I learnt to drive on “Nyva”!But soon I started driving foreign cars. Before Mercedes-Benz I had a car of another respectful European brand, but something was wrong – in the level of comfort, servicing the car… Only when I started driving the Mercerdes-Benz I realized that it is a perfect car. The status of car, comfort and safety are important for me and I am sure that Mercedes-Benz has no equal. Since then I have become its indisputable fan. I have not regretted my choice even once and persuaded all my friends to become the clients of “Avtomobilnyi Dim Ukraine.” Now I have the second car of the favorite brand. It’s 500 Mercedes-Benz LONG AMG 4MATIC with maximum vehicle configuration. Since I spend a lot of time in the car, I highly appreciate its comfort.

Are You satisfied with the service?

– The satisfaction from its level I felt at the stage of buying a car. At that moment I was in Bukovel and made an order via the phone. Without a personal acquaintance and even without visual contact manager Victoria was able to find exactly what I wanted, taking into account all the nuances. So I only had to wait for the arrival of the car from Germany. Technical servicing also leaves a pleasant impression. If I come myself, there is always something to get yourself occupied with at a dealership. And even if my driver brings the car (and it happens more often), later I receive a call and am asked about my opinion and the level of service – I believe this feedback is very important. The further support of clients is also worth mentioning, for example, events for the owners of Mercedes-Benz. This is a great opportunity to communicate with the fans of the same brand and a chance to expand the circle of acquaintances.

What style of driving do You have, do You like the speed?

– If I wanted to speed, as in my youth, I would buy a sports car. My Mercedes-Benz is a brand rightly recognized as the best in the world, and I identify it with the current period of my life, with success, a sense of inner comfort and stability. This is the confidence and peace of mind. However, this is a car in which you can allow yourself the high speed. It is completely controllable and sometimes you feel as if you are going by a safe train, not a passenger car. The security system does not allow you to get distracted – I must admit I had the opportunity to see how well and proactively it works.

But anyway, more often you travel with a driver?

– Legal activity is an enormous responsibility, I always have to be in touch. And no matter how helpful are the headsets to your mobile phone, I have no right to be distracted with business while driving. So, yes, more often I travel with a driver and work on the go. Noise isolation is excellent! That is why I call my Mercedes-Benz the premium office on wheels J

But despite the work, there should be time for rest – how do You spend your free time?

– I love to travel with my family. I am fortunate to have visited 45 countries! We usually travel by plane, but if it is more comfortable to travel around a country by car I always prefer hiring a Mercedes-Benz.

Which routes You have taken with Mercedes-Benz are the most memorable?

– You can drive it through mountains and valleys! For instance, my wife felt unusual on the narrow roads in Monaco, but I know our Carpathian Mountains so well that no serpentine can scary me. One of the most comfortable trips was the journey from Luxembourg to Frankfurt. The navigation system set the shortest route through small towns and it gave us a chance to fully experience the authentic atmosphere of European countries. We really enjoyed it.

Do You plan to buy a new Mercedes for work or travelling?

– Yes. I am looking forward to the restyling of Mercedes-Benz W222, announced for 2017 ‒ it will be a new step towards perfection.

For me, Mercedes-Benz is status, comfort and security. The model represents my inner state, a sense of stability and confidence.
